Remote Tank Cleaning
In response
to customer requirements and changing legislation AWS pioneered the development
of an innovative tank cleaning service
which featured a non-man-entry vessel de-sludging and cleaning system.
This system
considerably reduces the risks involved in confined space tank entry. AWS’s
approach is usually faster and considerably more cost effective than previous
traditional methods, which need scaffolding-out and final manual surface
preparation.
On busy
tank terminals, time spent by our customer on product changeovers is critical to
optimising vessel utilisation. The

assessments, method statements, managing our on-site personnel and any

health, safety and environmental monitoring helps to ensure a successful project
and a smooth hand over to client at the project's conclusion.
Mobile Physio Chem Treatment
AWS provides bespoke sludge dewatering solutions to
all areas of industry. Using mobile
preconditioning systems and filterpresses, efficient liquid solid separation systems are available and can be
constructed in accordance with the particular problems, scale and nature of the
project.
Confined Space/BA Trained Operators
In operating its Industrial services, AWS personnel are
involved with internal and external cleaning of tanks, areas and spaces, which
may be confined, inhospitable and contain suffocating and harmful atmospheres.
To work in the above situations AWS operators are trained in
Confined Space Entry and in the use of
Breathing Apparatus, gaining external
qualifications which are used in conjunction with internal company training.
This allows us to provide a skilled, highly competent
workforce able to operate safely and cost effectively to provide the highest
standard of work.
